Welcome to our Year 7 2026 families. The following documents are to inform you of all the information that you need before your daughter starts at Mount St Benedict College. Please note that some links will open as separate PDF documents. Please take the time to read and fill in all the relevant forms below, as this will make your daughter's transition to Mount St Benedict College much smoother.

Textbook orders need to be placed by Sunday 7 December to ensure delivery prior to school starting. When asked for your daughter's email, please choose the 'not sure' option.

RESOURCE KITS
Mandatory Visual Arts Kit

  • To be purchased at the time of uniform fitting, via the College Uniform Shop.
  • Kits will be distributed to students, during their first Visual Arts class of the year.
  • Kits will then become available at the College Uniform Shop, for mid-year enrolments.

If you would like to order stationery in one convenient place, this is an optional method to do so. Please note: the specified calculator type and model is mandatory. You can source this calculator from any supplier, but please ensure it is this exact one: Casio fx 82 Plus 11 Scientific Calculator.
All stationery items must be purchased and ready for use before the first day of school.

GIFTED AND TALENTED STUDENTS
This information is used to create individual profiles and facilitate appropriate support for students with high potential.

Please note, Registrations for Term One 2026 Cocurricular Activities will be released in stages. Please read over the Term One Program Overview to see what is on offer. The only programs that require registration before the end of the year are listed below.

To secure your child’s place in these programs, please view the Activity Fact Sheets below and follow the instructions for the registration process in each document.

Cocurricular activities where sign up is required soon

Please note: Disregard the registration due dates within each linked document below. The due dates have been extended in the text below.

At this stage, we only require registrations for those activities listed above, as early confirmation is required for these Programs.

All remaining Cocurricular Programs for Term One 2026 will open for registration on Monday 12 January via our new System, Clipboard. Clipboard will make it easier for families to view activities, register, and manage day-to-day participation. Benefits of the new system for parents and students include a streamlined registration process, accurate and detailed scheduling and fixtures, live notifications for changes/weather cancellations, match results and live attendance notifications. Detailed instructions will be provided in the new year to help families navigate this process. We look forward to the transition to a more simplified and efficient way of managing the Cocurricular Program at the College.

YEAR 7 RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE INFORMATION
The Year 7 Residential Experience will be held in Term One, Week Three, Wednesday 18 February - Friday 20 February.

Year 7 Residential Experience Action Items:

  • Please download and read through the parent information sheet for the Year 7 Residential Experience. Click Here.
  • Complete the online registration form from The Tops Centre (include dietary information here). Click here.
  • Complete the College’s Residential Experience permission form and medical and dietary information via the Enrolments Dashboard. Click here.
  • Download the packing list in preparation for Term One. Click here.

UNIFORM EXCHANGE
If any of the garments you have purchased for your daughter need to be exchanged for a different size, please send an email with all details to Nikki, our College Shop Manager: college_shop@msb.nsw.edu.au.

Parent Orientation Evening was held on:
Tuesday 18 November 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

Cocurricular Program Orientation Evening was held on:
Thursday 20 November 6:30pm-7:30pm.

Student Orientation Day was held on:
Friday 21 November 8.30am - 3.15pm.

Year 7 2026 First Day of School
The first day of school for Year 7 2026 Mount St Benedict College students will be Monday 2 February.

Students arrived at the Hildegard Centre roof/oval between 8.00am and 8:15am. Parents are welcome to join their daughters on the Hildegard Centre Roof before school and watch the Year 7 cohort depart on their Guard of Honour at 8.30am.

Parents receive an email in late January confirming what students should bring on their first day.
